It’s Wednesday, you are halfway through the incredibly stressful work week and that much closer to the beloved Friday. The only possible way to reward yourself is with a half price bottle of wine (of your choosing) to accompany your evenings dinner.

At Kemah Steak Company we offer one of the largest selections of wines in the Kemah area, which may make your decision of choosing just one bottle for half price a bit difficult. In order to make this process a little easier on our guests, we have come up with a few house favorite combinations of dinner entrees and wines.

Starting off with our white wine selections, we carefully teamed up the ever-popular ‘Butter’ Chardonnay from California with our creamy but light, Chicken Picatta. Staying true to its’ name, ‘Butter,’ is crisp and refreshing with a slight buttery finish, which compliments the lemon Beurre Blanc sauce that is married into our angel hair pasta and perfectly seasoned grilled chicken.

Moving on to a white wine that is defined as having a bit of sweetness, the Barone Fini Pinot Grigio, from Italy, is the perfect match for our fresh Atlantic Salmon, whether you prefer it grilled or blackened.

For our guests who are craving a red wine and cut of red meat, the Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon, from California, indefinitely brings out the full-flavor of our impressively large, Tomahawk Steak. We suggest coming in ready to share this steak of all steaks with the table!

Moving along to the full-body red wine, Merlot, we suggest a bottle of Velvet Devil from California. This is our go-to wine when enjoying a small, yet absolutely delicious, filet-mignon. To amp this selection up even more, add on an order of our bacon sautéed green beans.

Hopefully these choices offer our guests some direction when choosing a half price bottle of wine. But whatever you may choose, make sure to treat yourself, and some friends, this Wednesday night with Kemah Steak Company. Open at 5 pm daily.
